How to play

Build a connected crossword that links START to END — in as few tiles as possible. Every hole has a par. Beat it if you can.

• Tap a cell and type letters. Tap again (or press space) to switch between typing across ▸ and down ▾.
• Every row or column run of 2+ letters must be a real word.
• No repeats — each word may appear only once on the board.
• No lone letters — every letter must be part of a word.
• All letters must form one connected group covering START and END.
• Waypoint cells must be covered too.
• If a cell shows a faint letter, your word must put that letter there.
• Walls block cells. Route around them.

18 holes — a front nine and a back nine, easy to fiendish. Fewer tiles = better score: birdie, eagle, albatross…

This clears the whole card — every hole's board, your best scores, and the scorecard. There's no undo.
